Missoula Senior: Meet Sophie
Sophie is a Missoula senior and graduating in the class of 2026! She is super laid-back and personable which we incorporated into her session by keeping it super chill. She loves music and going to concerts so we had to stop by the Wilma for her session. She also talked about visiting the Caras Park carousel when she was younger so going there for some photos was such a fun, full circle moment.
Downtown Missoula Senior Session
Downtown Missoula is such a cool spot for senior pictures because there are so many unique spots and backdrops to choose from. For Sophie’s session, we met at Caras Park and walked to all the other spots from there which made it super easy. We started down by the river before walking the path to a bench with the perfect view of Mount Sentinel. After that, we walked up to the Wilma and then we headed to the carousel. The carousel was such a cool and unique addition to the session and I'm so glad we decided to do it! After the carousel we took some photos on the bridge before looping back and ending the session at the mural by Caras Park. Obviously you can tell we went to so many different spots by just walking around which is the great part about a Downtown Missoula senior session!
Missoula Senior Session in the Spring
Whether you’re doing a cap and gown session or just getting your senior pictures done before the end of the year, spring in Missoula is a great time for it. The wildflowers are blooming and everything is starting to turn green which makes the backdrops look so good. Spring is also right before the busy tourist season so it’s a great time to do a session before places start getting extra crowded. For Sophie’s session in Downtown Missoula, spring was so perfect for it. There weren’t too many people out and about which made the session super easy. The spring is also a great time to be able to wear a variety of outfits while the weather is still cool.
Free People Senior Session Outfit Inspo
Sophie had the cutest outfits for her senior session! She started the session with a long white Free People dress, a cute jean jacket, and cowboy boots. This outfit looked so good against the orange rocks and blue sky. I love jackets for a senior session so you can take pics with it on and off for a bit of variety.
For her second outfit, Sophie wore some dark wash barrel jeans, Boston Birkenstocks, and a cute oversize sweater. This outfit showed off her style so well while still keeping it casual. I loved how this outfit looked against the Downtown scenery and with the flash.
Unique Activities For Your Missoula Senior Session
Caras Park
One of my favorite things about Sophie’s session was that it was unique and super personal to her. A cool activity we incorporated into her session was riding the Caras Park Carousel. The pictures were super unique and added such a nostalgic look to her gallery which I'm obsessed with.
The Wilma
Another cool thing Sophie wanted to do for her session is take pictures in front of The Wilma. The Wilma is such an iconic Missoula spot with such a beautiful building. Going here was such a cool way to bring Sophie’s love of music and concerts into her session.
